The travel industry is a part of regular day-to-day existence, just as one of the major industries as far as the economic development in Romania is a concern. Restaurants and hotels in Romania that want to hire such foreign workers will do so more easily after the Government simplified the conditions through an emergency ordinance in July 2018. The employers to meet one condition to hire such personnel was not to have sanction for breaching the legislation.  With this period being reduced to six months now, it has become more reasonable, and the time taken to get work permits for such laborers has also decreased.
