POSITION SUMMARY:

The kitchen porter will be responsible to complete the menial tasks in a kitchen including duties such as cleaning, washing up and basic food preparation.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure the kitchen is kept clean and hygienic at all times.
  • Ensure all stocks are kept under optimum conditions.
  • Prepare the raw food for cooking.
  • Ensure all dishes are being prepared to the correct recipe and to the correct quantity.
  • Collecting and washing up pots and pans.
  • Cleaning crockery & cutlery and ensuring food preparation sites are clean and ready.
  • Personal grooming and appearance standards are met regarding cleanliness, sanitation and hygiene.
  • Have a good knowledge on health & safety, hygiene, equal opportunities, HACCP and any other legislation.
  • Able to handle pressure calmly and professionally.

POSITION SUMMARY

Performs duties in cleaning and servicing of guest rooms and baths, under supervision of housekeeping supervisor. Room attendant promotes a positive image of the property to guests and must be pleasant, honest, and friendly and should also be able to solve guest requests and problems. He/ She should maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all housekeeping departmental policies/service and also the hotel's procedures/standards. Additionally, maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Replenishes guestroom, bath supplies and amenities according to the operational standards
  • Cleans guest bathroom/ bedroom/ floor corridor.
  • Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas.
  • Inspect condition of bathrobes and replace soiled/damaged ones.
  • Clean closets and door tracks on check-out rooms, removing dust and debris. Ensure correct amount and placement of hangers, extra blanket/pillow and luggage rack.
  • Responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of his work area.
  • Attends to guest calls, guest requests /guest complaints in the area assigned to him/ her.
  • Authorize to enter in guestrooms for cleaning and providing turn down services as per requirement.
  • Responsible for achieving and exceeding the guest satisfaction score.
  • Update status of rooms cleaned on assignment sheet.
  • Return and restock cart at end of shift.
